A public rehearsal presents the work on an artistic production in process, it provides an insight into the current state of development and often goes hand in hand with feedback discussions or the collection of impressions and voices from the rehearsal audience. In children's theatre, the public rehearsal is also used to test the dramaturgy and acting style for reactions.
